Who we are...

Medical Record Services, LLC, was formed to serve as a continuation of the Regional Extension Center (REC), NEO HealthConnect, based out of Youngstown, Ohio.  NEO HealthConnect was a sub-recipient of the Ohio statewide Regional Extension Center Grant under the ARRA HITECH Act in 2009. The REC Grant provided funding for education, outreach and technical assistance to help priority primary care providers successfully implement and meaningfully use certified electronic health records (EHR) technology to improve the quality and value of health care. The REC grant period came to an end, as did REC services in 2014.

MRS provides a continuation of services, working with all health care providers and Business Associates (BA), on a fee-for-service basis. We currently work with Software Developers, IT Companies, Traditional Medical and Dental providers, City and County Health Departments, and members of a national ACO. Our clients are spread out from coast to coast. 

A key tenet of our mission is to disseminate knowledge to help improve the quality of healthcare delivery and health outcomes. In support of this mission, we have developed a variety of tools, resources, and partnerships.
